Adopt a family for the holidays
This year in the spirit of the holidays, we are GIVING back to those in need. We will be adopting two families for the holidays, helping them with money for food, warm clothing, and gifts for their children for Christmas. If you are feeling inspired to help us GIVE to these families in need, they would be grateful! There will be a jar in the tasting room for those who feel inspired to donate money. We will also have a Christmas tree in December. If you’d like to bring a gift or multiple gifts, they can be placed under the tree.
This weekend (Friday – Sunday) you can SAVE 10% on 4 bottles, 20% on 6 bottles, and 30% when you buy a case. Wine Club Members save an additional 10%. Participate in the ADOPT A FAMILY FOR THE HOLIDAYS and your tasting fee is waived. See below for more details.
Family #One (single mom with 4 kids)
A single mom with 4 boys. After her husband passed away, she became the sole provider for her family. She came to the US, with the hopes of making enough money to support her family. She had to leave her oldest two sons behind with their grandma, sending money to them as often as she can. She is a very hard worker, working multiple jobs to give her children the best life she can.
The best gift for this family would be money or gift certificates for food, or Christmas gifts for her youngest boys, ages 2 and 4 (please only bring new items).
Family #Two (young couple with 4 kids and a baby on the way)
A sweet young couple in their 30’s with 4 beautiful daughters and a baby boy on the way. The husband works in landscaping and has been excelling at his job, hoping to work his way up to being a foreman next year. The wife works part time cleaning houses and the rest of the time cares for their children. Although things are looking up for them, raising 5 kids is expensive. This time of year is very hard for them; as the husband usually gets laid off for a few months when the landscaping business slows down. They are in need of winter supplies (food, warm clothing) and would love to be able to give their children gifts on Christmas morning.
The best gift for this family would be money or gift certificates for food, or gifts for their children for Christmas, Please only bring new items. The girls are ages 10, 9, 7, and 3 with 1 baby boy on the way.
