Scott Snyder and John Adler are “Legally Insane”! Scott, a Portland attorney, and John, a Gresham psychologist, have performed together for more than 20 years throughout the Northwest on guitar, mandolin, dulcimer, piano, and vocals to the delight of every crowd they entertain. Rooted in Americana, folk, blues, and rock, Scott and John meld deeply felt original songs with well-known covers that summon up Simon and Garfunkel and Crosby and Nash. Separately they are their own musical, legal and psychological tour de force…. but together they are “LEGALLY INSANE”.
Sunday September 4th
A multi-talented musician and songwriter who has called the Columbia Gorge his home for over 20 years. His music draws influences from traditional folk, bluegrass and country, partnered with the energy and rhythms of alt-folk acts such as The Lumineers, Mumford and Sons, Shakey Graves and The Avett Brothers. It’s not unusual to find Barton playing multiple instruments simultaneously and his live shows bring an energetic and spontaneous performance to the stage. “For me, music is a way of being exactly in that moment. When I’m completely immersed in a song or melody, that’s when it feels true.” Weaving a variety of music and genres into his shows, this one-man act is always unique.
Monday September 5th
“Bridgid’s Cross is a small family ensemble. We play traditional instrumental Irish and Celtic music. We started playing as a family in 2015 and have been making new friends at wineries and pubs from Bend Oregon to Puget Sound. Kick back, have a glass, and enjoy some simple, unpretentious music from the old country.”
